With RTT the SWD debug interface is used to send information to the J-Link which forwards the information to a PC++, see <a href="https://www.segger.com/jlink-rtt.html">this</a> for more information.</p> <p>Also, there is a tutorial <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/tutorials/6/debugging-with-real-time-terminal/">here</a>, it is not for the Thread SDK though.</p> <p>For example when I run the Thread CLI example I get:</p> <pre><code>:INFO:Thread version: OPENTHREAD/g7c777392-dirty; NRF52840; Mar 3 2017 12:38:57 :INFO:Network name: OpenThread :INFO:State changed!
