which shows one way to create a new project based on an existing template. It works for me and I'm open to suggestions for improvements!

Sorry cant help you with that for me every project worked fine converting to segger. Only thing I had to do by hand is the flash placement.

Yes you have to do it for each example you convert to work with Segger. It only has do be done once fore each example. When you finished the conversation and want to change something just copy the folder, so you still have the plain template. This can then be used for all your projects.

Well it seems that anything you add from the SDK, including template or projects, you get a lots of errors such as "no such file boards.c" although its in there, and the same for .common file . I suspect you have to do the whole process from the guide for each new project you make ?? thats ugly ! guide

If you build a ble peripheral use examples/ble_peripheral/ble_app_template If not there is also an peripheral template project examples\peripheral\template_project

But I would suggest to start with an example that already includes some of the things you need so you don't have to code them and the config file is set to the things you need.
