Hi Lola,

I imported the ble_app_template project in Segger Embedded Studio v3.12 and did all the necessary changes according to the Segger Embedded Studio blog post.

I have attached the zipped project folder below and you should only have to extract it in nRF5_SDK_13.0.0_04a0bfd\examples\ble_peripheralfolder. Inside the zip you'll find the flash_placement.xml file and the thumb_crt0.s that will manually add to the project. You will also have to extract the ses.zip folder to nRF5_SDK_13.0.0_04a0bfd\components\toolchain.

I'm not sure why it's reporting mutiple defitinions, could be some inline-function thing. I can look further into this tommorow. Anyways, when you set the Allow Mutiple Symbol Definition to "Yes", the first definition will be used.

Something is really wrong with my environment. The error occurs in some projects now and not on others. Anyway thanks for your comment although I still do not understand how is it allowed to let the compiler have duplicates ...

I tried to change it back to "No", but was not able to reproduce the error again. Now it works with both Yes/No for me. Could be some bug with the compiler optimization or something

OK, one step closer to compiling. You can fix the 106 errors by setting Select the Project -> Project options, -> Linker -> Allow Mutiple Symbol Definition to "Yes".

This is set to "Yes" by default in e.g. Version 3.10, but seems to be set to "No" in version 3.12, so you need to change it to "Yes".
