I can get it to Pair with the nRF52832 in windows, according to windows.
I have a "Standard Serial over Bluetooth link (COM3) in Device manager.
I have tried to connect

RE: HowTo use S132 to for uart to Windows 10

https://github.com/bossesand/OHTI

SPP and classic aren't mentioned on the Bluetooth 5 webpages, but it isn't explicitly deprecated by Bluetooth 5.
What is the status with Nordic chips?

RE: HowTo use S132 to for uart to Windows 10

Hi Boss,

I agree with what Turbo said, SPP is not for BLE.

The NUS service is just something Nordic created as an example of defining and using proprietary service.

You would need to write your own software on Windows to send and receive data to the nRF52. You can still use the NUS service, but you need to write your own code on Windows.
You can have a look at these examples:

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

RE: HowTo use S132 to for uart to Windows 10

"Standard Serial over Bluetooth" (SPP) is a Bluetooth classic profile, and does not work with bluetooth low energy.

Thus you will never see a COM port in windows for NRF5x devices.

To access bluetooth low energy devices the corresponding software will need to support them directly (using newer OS interfaces for BT LE).
