If you want to change adv. packet content (btw. this API function manages both ADV. and SCAN_RSP data) then you run it, there is no special place you can or cannot call this. Indeed it will take effect only when adv. is running but you can call it even before you call <code>sd_ble_gap_adv_start</code>.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
