Just sending 1 advertising transmission may not be of much use, because the receiver is not guaranteed to receive a single packet (of for that matter multiple transmissions)</p> <p>I have found that with an iOS app in normal operation I do not receive every advertising transmission, I often loose 50% or more of the transmissions.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
