The timing requirement are critical so hardware PWM is essential, rather than CPU generated waveform output. All nRF52 chips have dedicated PWM HW peripheral block which can run independently (= from pre-set registers) even when MCU and other parts of processor do something else. But indeed you should clarify detailed requirements against <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.nrf52/dita/nrf52/chips/nrf52810_ps.html?cp=2_2_0">nRF52810 chip specification</a>...</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
