&lt;p&gt;All GPIO configuration is retained is System Off, so if the LED is on when entering System Off mode, it will also stay on in System Off mode.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.nrf52832.ps.v1.1/gpio.html?cp=2_1_0_19#concept_zyt_tcb_lr"&gt;GPIO chapter&lt;/a&gt; in the Product Specification:&lt;/p&gt;
