Bootloader should work for nRF52840. What kind of problem do you have ?

Could you send the bootloader .hex file you compiled ?

Have you modified anything except for the public key ? You can try to test with fresh copy of the SDK, make sure you used pca10056 project , not the one for PCA10040.

I assume you followed the tutorial here.

Is there a DUG in the nRFgo ? it's couldn't down load the bootloader to nRF52840?

In the "secure_dfu_ble_iar_nRF5x.icf" under the folder C:\Users\nRF5_SDK_13.1.0_7ca7556\examples\dfu\bootloader_secure_ble\pca10056:

define symbol ICFEDIT_intvec_start = 0xf8000;

define symbol ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start = 0xf8000; define symbol ICFEDIT_region_ROM_end = 0xfdfff;

Is it right?

Yes, but no demo code of bootloader .HEX file for nRF52840 in SDK v13.1.0

There are like million and one thing you could have done wrong, hard to help. Normally DFU examples in SDK v13.1.0 should work so I'd start with them and report errors with as much details as possible as soon a you encounter them.

Sure, it doesn't have any architectural difference from nRF52832, just more RAM, flash and HW peripherals.
