How do I load the soft device properly?
How do I set things up to run SEGGER_RTT_WriteString?
I had working code, but migrating to SDK 12.3.0 has broken everything.

We don't have any examples specific for Linux, but we provice GCC projects for most of the examples in our SDK.

For setup and configuration of ARM GCC, the Development with GCC and Eclipse tutorial should be a great starting point. If you want to use an IDE for development, I can also recommend this blog post tutorial on using Segger Embedded Studio.

Softdevices are programmed using nrfjprog, as described in the documentation.

For setup of SEGGER RTT, you can reference this tutorial. Note that it is written for SDK 11, and all steps are not required anymore.

The latest version of the SDK with support for nRF52832 chips are SDK v13.1.0, which can be downloaded from this page.

Best regards,
