Thanks! This was pretty helpful. For some reason I didn't focus on the sticker but was just turning the board over and over trying to find a silkscreen indication

The PCA and nRF numbers don't match like that. The nRF52832 is PCA10040, and the nRF52840 PCA10056.

There is usually a sticker on the board. I have an nRF52 Preview DK, and the sticker on the board says "PCA10040". PCA10032 appears to be a dongle bundled with the nRF51 DK, so you probably want PCA10040.

which board are you using? nrf52832 or nrf52840? depending on that
