I have a BLE nano v1.5 from RedBear. I want to use s120 SoftDevice developed for the nRF51822 and for what i've read this is not available for programming with mbed platform(i was able to flash a few examples with an app and the blink example)

RE: SoftDevices BLENano

I believe mbed now already moved to S130. Not sure why you want to use S120 ? I don't think you need to merge the softdevice and the mbed application, as far as I know the softdevice is already merged in the mbed hex.

I suggest to you with our SDK v12.x

RE: SoftDevices BLENano

Cannot help you with your Linux box as I use Windows 7/8.1 for my N52832 work :(

RE: SoftDevices BLENano

Yes!
