In your case it sounds like you get both a framing error and a braking condition (bit C and D). I&#39;m not sure what would cause this, but I would start with checking that the UART setup is equal on both devices (baud rate, flow control, etc), then check the wiring, and possibly have a look at the signals with a logic analyzer.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
