I am using Cross Studio 3.7.5. I can this cross studio to load in example of SDK13.0.1 and make it compiling and debugging properly. I just got stuck with this debug issue. I am guessing that you forgot to change processor settings.
The nRF51 is a Cortex-M0. The nRF52 is a Cortex-M4F. Make sure your compiler settings are for the right processor. Don't forget to replace the startup code and linker script as well.
