There are several known issues with the buttonless DFU example in SDK v12.x.x, see <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/question/93241/">this</a> known issue thread. Thus, I strongly recommend that you use the example from either SDK v13.x.x. or SDK v14.0.0</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
