For anyone else coming across this issue through Google search, it seems there's something weird about the JLink DLL that comes with different versions of Keil. Managed to fix by installing the JLink tools directly from Segger

www.segger.com/.../

Let the installer overwrite the Keil DLL, run the JLink Commander app and let it do any firmware updates it wishes. Keil should then see it fine.

@Beginner: It might not be relevant since your kit seems to be recognized by your computer, but maybe you can try/answer these standard questions.

Are you using Windows? If yes, do you see the JLINK drive when you open windows explorer? Your screenshot 2 looks very similar to my screenshot too. The SN number is slightly different for me. Also, under SW Device, I can see a device name "ARM CoreSight SW-DP". I am using the same exact board as you, so it should work. Are you certain that you have installed all the required software?

Hello, I tried your suggestions but my nrf dk is not getting detected in nrf go studio. (screenshot1) My new challenge is when I click on flash download option I am getting error as "No cortex-M SW device found". I am refering to devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ but I am not able to solve my challenge. I am attaching screenshot(2) of my settings in above question. Thanks,

Have you flashed the softdevice to your nrf52? You can do this by installing nrfGoStudio. When you open nrfGoStudio, find the device manager section -> nrf52 development boards -> click on the Segger tab -> press Erase all -> press Program SoftDevice tab -> press Browse ... -> find softdevice under SDK folder -> components -> softdevice -> s... (choose the correct softdevice) -> hex -> choose the hex file. Then, press the Program button. Then try flashing & downloading your code again. Hope that helps!

Have you also checked that you have installed all of the required software? See the "nrf5 Getting Started" tab -> "Nordic Tools & Downloads" in the Nordic InfoCenter.
