It is hard to investigate your issue without more details. Could you upload the entire project for debugging? If you do not want to post it in public, you can create a case in MyPage and link to this thread.

Well, debugging with SD turned on is a pain. I did turn on all debug options. Without my "dirty hack" processor just lands at hard fault. I can't catch it in my app_error_fault_handler.

So it is working if you put a delay after scheduling the transaction? How do you setup the TWI driver/library? Are you sure you are not getting any non-zero error codes? This debug method should tell you the answer to that.
