It should be similar. I recommend using the latest MDK, which can be installed from the SDK directory, or downloaded here.

Does this limited support for native device may effect development in any way (i.e. debugging of registers? breakpoint features? tracing feature?) Can you guide me how to work without "Native support"?

IAR might have limted native support for some devices, but installing the MDK delivered with the SDK will provide support for all nRF5x devices, and make sure you get the latest bugfixes. See this infocenter page for more information about installing the MDK.

Can you elaborate more? Using IAR 7.50 I cannot see nRF52840 in list of devices and according to IAR release notes, it is only supported in 7.80: netstorage.iar.com/.../NordicSemiconductor.ENU.html

Thank You Jorgen,After installing MDK for IAR from the SDK directory and updating J-Link debugger to newer version IAR version 7.40 is working fine.

The IAR version used for testing and verification of each SDK release, is documented in the release notes (found in documentation directory). You should be able to use your IAR version with any SDK, but you need to install the MDK for IAR from the SDK directory to add support for newer devices. This support is not built-in to the SDK or IAR version.

Hi Jorgen, I am using SDK_14.0.0.No,i didn't installed MDK installer as i have licensed version of IAR 7.40. Will other SDK'S support IAR version 7.40 ? I have not seen device name with nRF52840 only nrf51XX is present in IAR version 7.40? Thank you.

Which SDK version are you using? Have you installed the MDK installer for IAR that is included in the root of the SDK directory?
