You can use it to program or debug the nRF51 and nRF52 series.</p> <p>On our nRF51 and nRF52 series development kits, there are o<a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.nrf52/dita/nrf52/development/nrf52_dev_kit/interf_mcu.html?cp=2_1_4_4">n-board J-Link debugging IC</a>. You are not required to use J-Link debuggers for programming our chip, any <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nRF51_RM_v3.0.1.pdf#page=40">SWD compatible programmer</a> should work.
