We are working on Automotive project using nrf51824. below are some queries ,
We are basically want to use the chip as a Bluetooth to Kline(using Uart) bridge . . i.e we want to send/receive K line commands using a mobile app
K line uses

RE: Automotive grade Bluetooth chip k-line

Is this related to your other question?

RE: Automotive grade Bluetooth chip k-line

hi, i have same project with you.
when i set baudrate =10400 by configuring baud rate register. it 's 0x0029A000UL. but nothing happend in RX.

i test this project by arduino and it's worked totally, so now i'm in trouble in NRF51 sdk11

could you give me some ideal?
thanks

RE: Automotive grade Bluetooth chip k-line

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand this question. It is possible to switch the configuration of a pin back and forth between pretty much any functionality (UART, TWI, regular GPIO, etc.) at runtime.

Yes, that is possible by configuring the BAUD RATE register. As you can see in the documentation, there are only a selected few documented baud rates, but it is possible to experiment with the register values and get custom baudrates too.

Unfortunately not.

Do we have any relevant apps for such
applications?

I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for here, but we have some UART examples in our SDK and some Android and iOS source code that might be usefull on github.
