I have tried nRFgo and when I click on Segger 6278654 under nRF52 development boards, I get Windows File Explorer loaded into JLINK(D:)

Looks like picture is not allowed in the comments (only in question and answer boxes?)! Can you try to use nRFgo Studio to load in the softdevice hex file? I just wonder if the nRFgo studio will display the same "No Corex M device..." error message here.

Yes, custom beacon is powered up. Connections are the same as "devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../" I have attached a photo - the thin enamel wires are soldered to a TC2030 footprint (no TC2010 connector cable available from local supplier)

I have checked all wire connections with a meter and all OK.

Can you double check to make sure your custom beacon is powered up? Also are the SWDIO and SWDCLK connected correctly between the DK52 and your custom beacon? Can you show us a photo of your connection?

I have just done that and the "Could not load file '............\components\softdevice\s132\hex\s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice.hex" error has been resolved.

I now have a new error when I attempt to load file s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice.hex with Keil uVision. The Error is "No Cortex-M SW Device Found"

I have downloaded nRF5_SDK_12.2.0_f012efa and s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice.hex is there. Can I just copy this file to the hex folder in nRF5_SDK_12.3.0_d7731ad where my software is?

Try download from here:

developer.nordicsemi.com/.../

Download, say, 12.2.0, unzip and see if the softdevice hex file is there.

only s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice which is a Windows Script Component (.sct)

You don't need a bootloader but you do need to have the softdevice present in the N52 chip before loading in your own program. Do you see the s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice.hex in the folder ~\nRF5_SDK_12.2.0_f012efa\components\softdevice\s132\hex?
