I suggest that you try with mitm = 0, and also note that ble_adv_on_disconnect_disabled should be set to false, in order to restart advertising if you disconnect.

Can the HID services work with security mode 1 level 3 i.e bond = 1 and mitm = 1. I am asking this because in the other example it worked for security params bond = 1 and mitm = 0.

Hi, nrfConnect is on Android. Yes I have bonded and paired with the device. I have the ble_adv_on_disconnect_disabled flag set to true. That's the expected behavior for my application. When the button is pressed for more than 5 secs the device advertises in Config mode and when the button is pressed slightly it advertises in fast mode where it should auto connect if paired. Since HID services are advertised in fast mode, the android should autoconnect to those services.

Hi,

Is this nRF-Connect for desktop(PC) or for Phone ?
Did you pair/bond with the device?
Is the device advertising (have you set the ble_adv_on_disconnect_disabled flag ? )
Have you tried setting "Use autoConnect" in nRFConnect ?
