nRF5 SDK for Mesh v0.10.0-alpha is now released, and adds support for the nRF52840.

You can download the SDK here.

Hey Petter, When do you think the next release will be ? I am working on my graduation project for school and ordered 4 nRF52840 to test and research BLE mesh. So when you say : " so you have to implement it yourself. " what does this mean?

You can do a lot of things with nRF52840, normal BLE, Thread ++ You can do Bluetooth Mesh as well, but our current SDK doesn't support nRF52840. So you have to implement it yourself. We will add support for the nRF52840 in the next release though.

What am I able to do with nRF52840? It is possible to test mesh funcionality using this one? I've just started with nRF and I think that without any example I am not able to start working with mesh. Do you have any idea what can I do?

At the moment the Bluetooth Mesh SDK does not support (but is compatible with) nRF52840 as you can see here, but we are working on adding support for it.

Hello !!! I was also interested in this issue, I also have nrf52840 (2 pieces) and Thingy: 52 in general there are examples for nrf52832 but not for nrf52840 but considering that they from one family can advise this here devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../
I have problems started with Thingy - I can not compile sdk for it))
