 I am using ble mesh sdk 0.9.2 light control sample where I have modified it to send messages from the client to one particular server every 5 seconds.

&lt;p&gt;Looking at the &lt;code&gt;access_message_rx_meta_t&lt;/code&gt; it doesn&amp;#39;t have the field to propagate the RSSI information received given in the &lt;code&gt;NRF_MESH_EVT_MESSAGE_RECEIVED&lt;/code&gt; event. I&amp;#39;ve reported this internally and we&amp;#39;ll get onto fixing that ASAP.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Your idea sounds like a reasonable and practical way of going about it :)&lt;/p&gt;
