Since we are "loooong away from this tickets original issue", I would recommend creating a new question, where you describe your setup and the problem you now have.

Ok, But I already solved by installing 7.80.4: But now i am stuck at getting the border router image for a Raspberry PI to work (and we are loooong away from this tickets original issue :-) ) RaspPi_Thread_Border_Router_Demo_v0.10.0-1.alpha. Even though the flash is "succesfull" it doesn't seem to work?!

Hi,

You are not using IAR to flash the device? What error do you get when you use nRF Studio?

Make sure that you have the latest Segger J-link drivers, you can download it from here. Latest version is V6.20f.

In IAR you only need to set the target core to Cortex-M4, and set the FPU to VFPv4-single precision. If you get a pop-up from the Segger J-link flasher tool, select the nRF52840.

Okay, I have managed to get this version, but i get an error when I try to flash the device using nRF studio with the build made in IAR (still missing my SEGGER). And I can onyl choose NordicSemi nRF52832-xxAA in this IAR version. I am not used to IAR, can I add nRF52840 as device?

If your company does not have the installer, you will need to contact IAR for that:

I have access to a IAR license server, but we don't store installation files.

Thanks for your answer! And how do I get the old 7.xx version? I haven't managed to find a download library with previous versions?

Hi,

The new IAR version 8 is not fully compatible with the current Thread SDK version. Testing and verification of the Thread SDK v0.10.0 is done using IAR Workbench 7.60.2. I therefore recommend using the IAR 7.60.2 version, or a similar 7.x version.
