 And I just find this device as a bluetooth device but can not find any new uart device under uart device list.

&lt;p&gt;The bluetooth low energy support in Win8 limits only to HID over GATT, to the ble_app_uart will not work out-of-the-box with windows&amp;#39; bluetooth 4.0 controller.
The ble_app_uart will however work with the PCA10001 + MasterEmulator&amp;#39;s nRFUART, normally located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Emulator\2.1.7.8226&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You&amp;#39;ll need to copy the .exe to the above folder in order for it to run.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Note: You will not get an UART device enumerated in windows, see this thread for more info:
