Please let me have a question about PCA 10040.
When you connect a USB cable, it acts as a virtual drive and if you copy hex format (such as Hart rate monitor) by dragging and dropping to a virtual drive
I think that it acts as BLE

RE: How to use 10040

I'm sorry but I don't work with Keil so I cannot help you. If I understand it correctly all should be set and work out of the box IF you install all the SW (mainly SEGGER J-Link package after you installed Keil so it registers with it), attach your Dev Kit and verify that it installs proper SEGGER drivers (e.g. by using nRFgo Studio where it should be visible and you must be able to recover/erase/program the nRF5x target on the board). If you still have problem please submit new question with very precise description of what environment you use, what tools, how you installed them, which tutorial you follow, in which step you hang, what did you expect to happen and what happened instead.

RE: How to use 10040

Thanks for your comment

I tried the basic tutorials procedure, but I can compile but it can not flash. An error dialog has appeared "J-LINK-Cortex-M Error No J-Link found"

Is it necessary to set Debugger? Please tell us the settings for debugging by making a USB connection to the 10040 board.

RE: How to use 10040

See all basic tutorials by Nordic, they use mostly Keil and all is shown there.
