Unfortunately, the FreeRTOS port in the SDK is oooooold, version 8.2.1, dating back to September 2014 (!).
Are there any plans to update FreeRTOS

RE: FreeRTOS updates?

Hi,

The FreeRTOS port is unfortunately still on version 8.2.1. We hope to add support for version 9 in the future, but we don’t have any dates or schedule for this at the current time. So you need to allocate this somehow else. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
