It says, DFU service not found. You may need to check the attribute table to see if you actually added the DFU service. There is a chance that the phone cached the attribute table, you can try to turn off an on Bluetooth or turn off or on the phone, just to check. For attribute table that can change you would need to have service changed service added to the table.

I tried to perform a DFU on nRF51 via nRFConnect_v1.8.2 under iOS_v10.3.2.

The DFU still doesn't work with the same issue mentioned by -Heisenberg-

PS: I added two screen shots showing nRFConnect_v1.8.2 LOG.

Howerver DFU works using nRF toolbox APP under the same envirenement .

What's new about the update from nRFConnect_v1.8.1 to nRFConnect_v1.8.2 about the DFU feature.

I need a responce ASAP. Many thanks.

Hi @Jiajuin,

We have updated the nRF Connect iOS application to the latest version 1.8.1, where Nordic mentions that it fixes issues in DFU module with duplicate reconnection, but unfortunately we still face the same behavior, and encounter the "Abort, DFU service not found" error.

Hi, The DFU on v1.8.0 will make sure the target peripheral is connected before the DFU process starts. It hinders the error "Abort, DFU service not found" occurs.

If you encounter DFU failure, please attach a log files to us.

Hi, looks like it either related to iPhone caching the device services, or that the bootloader wasn't flashed on your device (just the 'jump to bootloader srevice' in app), as the DFU button was shown in nRF Connect (when in app mode) but then DFU failed after switching to bootloader. I have no idea what else could cause this issne.
