Do you mean the cable from the PPK to the device under test (DUT) in the image above? If so, just use two regular jumper cables.

We have some similar issues with our PPK. It probably isn‘t the hardware in our case because with the Otii Software it works quite good.

It turned out to be a faulty board. Might be do to a possible ground loop because the debugger and PPK were connected to USB on the same computer. Not 100% certain though.

No, not unless I underestimate my ability to make really bad firmware. I'll keep the j-link away while checking power consuptions in the future then.

I guess it could have been a ground loop, yes. Can you think of any other errors you might have made that led to the ppk becoming faulty?

Yes seems like he had a faulty board. Could my error be caused by a ground loop from having both debugger and PPK connected to USB on the same comupter though?

Yes, exact like figure 1, but with debugger as well as illustrated in my second picture in the question

Note that it was working fine for a good while before it broke

Have you made sure that you set up the PPK like described in this link here?

Also, which version of the PPK are you currently using? Which version of the PPK software are you using?
