I updated my question, and implemented what was in BLE Characteristics in the ble_app_template example. I got no errors by doing that. However there's no response from BLE. I also attached both main.c.

I would say the easiest move would have been to use the template example in SDK 12.3 and just follow the tutorial. I don't know why you are trying to initialize the uart? I can't find any reference to the app_uart_init() in the main.c from the Characteristic tutorial. Maybe you could upload your code?

Hi! I did as you said and followed the tutorials. I kept the sdk_config.h from ble_app_template, in fact I copied the main.c, our_service.c and our_service.h from BLE Characteristics completed to the folder of the template, overwriting the main.c there. then I did the tutorial to migrate to peer manager. However I get this error "L6218E: Undefined symbol app_uart_init (referred from main.o)". I have no clue of what can be wrong.

I would use the ble_app_template example from SDK 12, where the peer manager and the sdk_config.h file is already implementet. You should be able to follow the tutorial using that example. I did it myself a while ago, but I don't have the finished code I'm afraid. Let me know if you face any problems.

Hi Joakim, I see, yes, I've been trying to adapt especially the BLE Characteristics, furthermore I followed those three beginners tutorials and the one to migrate device manager to peer manager. However I'm getting an error of undefined symbol at app_uart_init, and sdk_config.h was adapted from here, but it still persists, I think I might be missing something, I'll keep trying, thanks!

There is not much difference between SDK11 and SDK12, and you should be able to follow the tutorials for SDK11 without too much trouble. Do you only have trouble with the BLE Characteristic tutorial?
