As far as I remember, there should be an option in mVision to erase all content. Also make sure that you are loading the code at the correct offset in memory. Otherwise you can trample the SoftDevice code. It helped me to go back and re-read all of the "getting started" documentation.

I have the same issue, although my softdevice (5.2.1) is flashed as near as I can tell. The non-BLE examples work great but none of the BLE examples seem to show up on the air.

To be exact here, I had previously loaded the SoftDevice software onto the chip using nRFgo. Then I tried to load the sample projects using mVision. My mistake was that I chose to erase all content from the nRF51822 EK before loading the new firmware. Beginner's luck. ;-)

Have you program softdevice (i use 6.0.0) hex file into chip before program the sample code?
