i'm using an nRF52832 as a Bluetooth to UART bridge, similar to the APP UART example.
Another controller (Cortex M7) is connected to the UART. I'm using UARTE with EasyDma and,
because i have telegrams with variable length, TIMER1 to generate

RE: UARTE framing errors at low temperatures?

Are you able to test with Flow control ?

You could also maybe do a test where 2 Cortex M7 is connected together with their UART, and see if the same errors occur then. And then do a test with 2 nRF52832 connected over UART(E).

But at -35 °C you are getting very close to the operating limit. So if it works better with flow-control, maybe that could be a solution for the problem. It could also be an idea to do some error-handling when you get the framing-error event. I.e request the data again, until you send/receive it successfully.

RE: UARTE framing errors at low temperatures?

Hi,

The nRF52832 should support temperatures down to -40 °C.

Does the Cortex M7 have any temperature ratings ? What temperatures does it support?

Does the 32 MHz crystal you use support -30 °C ?
