You can do both mesh and BLE at the same time. There is already an example <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/question/163747/ble-mesh-sdk-along-with-peripheral-mode/">here</a>. We will soon make an example for latest SDK.</p> <p>Adding a second board will make hardware more complex and increase the size of the device and power consumption.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
