Hello can I also be an early adopter? We are also interested in time and scene models, are there any news regarding that?, or we have to implement them by ourselves...

There will be an implementation for sensor models soon in the iOS nRF Mesh apps. This is standard behavior. Vendor models, such as the simple onoff server model are supported in the nRF Mesh apps (iOS & Android).

Besides the Generic mesh models, does Nordic also provide the official implementation of Sensor, Time and Scenes, Lighting models?

You could try to modify the nrf mesh code provided on github to support the generic level model. I will send you a PM regarding the timeline question on the nrf mesh app.

Bjorn, I already looked to the above demo FW and I added the generic on/off model to the Light Server Proxy demo. The problem is that on a real life application I also need other generic models like the generic level server model. Now I manually implemented the generic level model looking to the bluetooth sig model specifications, but I cannot test it because the nRF Mesh iOS App does not support that model. I was hoping not to have to start from scratch but it semms that this is the case. Are you planning to release any update of the app with more models support in the very near future?

luciom Take a look at the way the Thingy:52 implements the generic on off model in this demo FW. You can also take a look at this youtube video, which explains provisioning via the nrf mesh app for iOS (also available for Android).

So it has been 6 months ... Is there any more news for a release date? I've been working on the generic models myself, but can't figure everything out, especially with those timers.

There will be official implementations of generic mesh models, although this will not be available in the next mesh release.
