Hi. i would like to know whether you are able to source the nrf52840 ICs or not. we are in a similar situation and are in dire need of a few ICs for our testing.

hi RK! Already connected w Distributer. they told nor engineer nor release are available. Why engineer version unavailable ? how we can test out pre-samples PCB's before release ? thx .

It's impossible because the chip hasn't been released yet - it's only available on the development boards in a pre-release testing version.

see this question devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ which hopes that they should be available sometime Q4 2017 .. we're in that quarter now so we can hope for a release before the end of the year.

If you want a better answer about when release may be, I suggest opening a my page support case or contacting your nearest nordic representative.

If you are looking for engineering samples you may be able to get some (can't think you'd get 200) from your local distributor
