I have some troubles when i use it. e.g. 1) how to completely stop an updating plot that a PPK draws? even i click the "stop" button on the desktop application, the plot it draws still

RE: troubles of using Power Profiler Kit(1)

thank u very much.

RE: troubles of using Power Profiler Kit(1)

thank u very much.

RE: troubles of using Power Profiler Kit(1)

And just to let you know. We are working on a completely new and better software for the PPK at the moment, which is not written in python.

RE: troubles of using Power Profiler Kit(1)

You can have negative currents because of capacitance in the circuit. The PPK also uses algorithms to calculate the correct avarage current over the switching points, i.e. when the PPK switches measuring resistor value. This can lead to some negative spikes. The average current should be correct though.

Seems like there are some problems with exporting picures. I will report it internally. Meanwhile you can use the snipping tool in windows, which should do pretty much the same thing. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The reason your plot is not stopping may be because it is delayed, try commenting out line
196
in
ppk.py

plotter.start_log_thread()
