Hi Joakim. I am using PCA10031. As I have mentioned earlier, my problem has been solved for MCP by pressing 'No' in the J-Link RBPCONF register message.

I am switching on nRF connect according to your recommendation. I have some difficulty with it. I will create another issue if I got stuck badly. Thanks for your help.

What version is the nRF51 dongle you are using? You could try to recover the device using nrfjprog before programming, and see if that helps.

If I understand you correctly, the dongle works and you are able to perform the discovery if you press "No" on the J-link message?
I haven't seen that message before, and it's peculiar that it works on the other computers. Are you using the same version of MCP and the J-link driver? Also, Master Control Panel (MCP) is deprecated, and I would recommend you to try nRF Connect for windows.

Hi Joakim, Yes, I can find it in the Windows Device Manager.

MCP actually can find the device and program it but cannot run it.

FYI, if I click on "Advanced..." button, if always gives me a message and does not let me change the parameters there

Also, I had a discovery. Every time I program the device it gives me a message as below .

if I press on 'Yes', the device does not work. if I press on 'No' I can reset successfully and start discovery! do you have any explanation?

Hi Ehsan!
Are you able to see your dongle in your windows device manager? Should be able to find it under Ports named something like "JLink CDC UART port (COMX).
