Often when I try connect BLED112 dongle to bluetooth module BMD-300 by command:
ble_cmd_gap_connect_direct(DeviceMAC, gap_address_type_random, 60, 76, 100, 0);
event ble_rsp_gap_connect_direct is triggered with msg->result = 0x0181 (device

RE: Problem with connection BLED112 to BMD-300 (sometimes)

I don't know how it's implemented, the firmware, on the Bluegiga board, so it's hard to tell.

RE: Problem with connection BLED112 to BMD-300 (sometimes)

I noticed that the connection problem occurs if I try to connect after a few seconds after the scan finishes. I suppose that one of the devices (BLED112 or BMD-300) goes into standby mode after few seconds, because if I try to connect immediately after stopping the scan, the connection is always established (event "ble_evt_connection_status" is triggered). What do you think about it?

RE: Problem with connection BLED112 to BMD-300 (sometimes)

Hi Marogo,

I'm not sure people here would have much knowledge on the Bluegiga BLE GUI Tool. Have you tried to send your question to Bluegiga ?

Also, if you can provide a sniffer trace, it could be easier to understand what exactly happened.
