Did you use the nrf toolbox app for Android? I have not had any experience with the BlueCove library, but I guess if you would spend enough time with it, you would figure it out. You could check out the <a href="https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/Android-nRF-Toolbox">nrf toolbox app in Github</a>, as this was written in Java for Android.
