I do not think its a Segger issue since the J-Link Plus works with nrfjprog and J-Link Commander/Flash. I apologize for not being able to figure out why you're seeing this issue. However, you can use the J-Link Plus with nrfjprog, which is more suitable for production programming than nRFGo Studio.

Yep, I've uninstalled nRFGo Studio and re-installed it several times.

Well, then this should be asked to SEGGER I guess.

Hmm, I can't think of any reason to why your setup does not work when you're using the latest version, especially since nrfjprog works. Otherwise it could have been a Jlink driver issue as Anders suggested. Have you tried to uninstall nRFGo Studio and then re-installing it?

Hi Mango, I do not see any reason to why nrfjprog works, but nRFGo Studio does not, since nRFGO Studio is just a GUI built on top of nrfjprog. Which version of nRFGo Studio are you using? The latest version is 1.21.2.

Sorry for reopening. The above timed out error was caused since I used a USB hub;

I connected the J-Link Plus to the USB hub, not my desktop's mainboard USB port.

The point is that the J-Link Plus can be used with Keil; it can flash and debug.

The nrfjprog.exe works well. However, the nRFgo studio causes problems.

I've uploaded some file. Can you check it, please?

I've tried the reinstalling process. The J-Link Edu works fine as usual.

However, my J-Link Plus still doesn't work. Well, this time the J-Link Plus shows connection timeout error.

JLink Error: Communication timed out: Requested 4 bytes, received 0 bytes !

So, the debugging Keil projects with J-Link Pro may have worked with luck I guess.

Thanks for your help and I'll try to solve this with SEGGER.

Yes, please try to uninstall nRFgo Studio and then install the latest version of the command line tools from our site.

Hi, Bjørn. As I mentioned above, I used nrfjprog (Win32) version 8.5.0.

So I tried to install nrfjprog v9.2.1 without removing the nRFgo studio and the old nrfjprog.

However, the installer showed an error. In this case, should I remove the nRFgo studio,

install nrfjprog 9.2.1, and reinstall nRFgo studio without the command line install?

I've attached the log and the error message.

Hi Mango922,

I performed a test with one of our J-Link Plus debug probes and a nRF52 DK v1.1.0 and I did not see any issues with it and nrfjprog. However, I am using nrfjprog v9.2.1 and JLinkARM.dll v6.12a. Could you try to update to the latest nrfjprog version by downloading the latest commandline tools from the nRF52 DK download page?

My first thought is to check the Jlink versions. Type nrfjprog -v in a terminal. It shows the versions of both nrfjprog and the Jlink used
