Thank you Hung. It did it all from scratch with SDK 12.3 and it worked, then again on SDK 12.2... and it worked. I must have missed something somewhere. Sorry for wasting your time.

I used protoc-3.5.0-win32.zip from here. And yes, I need to add syntax="proto2"; into the file.

Hi Hung, Thanks for your answer! I created another fresh copy of the SDK I'm using (12.2), and did the generation again, same issue. Now, the proto compiler is not coming from the SDK and it's v3.5 (and requires me to add "syntax" to the proto file). Could you tell me which version of the proto compiler you're using?

Hi Jonathan,

I tested here and if I don't do any modification to the dfu-cc.proto, the dfu-cc.pb.c and dfu-cc.pb.h files generated from nanopb are identical to the one came default with the SDK.

My suggestion is to test again with a fresh copy of the SDK. If it still doesn't work, please provide us your .proto , .pb and .options.
