Which mesh SDK are you currently using? 0.9.2, 0.10.0 or 0.10.1? Let me take a look at this and get back to you.

Have you taken a look at the infocenter regarding using the python files? You should be able to use the file "serial_doc_gen_pyaci.py" using Interactive pyACI.

Depending on which nrf52 dk you have, you can open up either the "serial_nrf52832_xxAA_s132_5_0_0" or "serial_nrf52840_xxAA_s140_5_0_0-3_alpha" emproject. As the names clearly show, the first one is for the nrf52832 and the second one is for the nrf52840. Regarding running & debugging, I would take a look at this youtube video. An application engineer at Nordic made a whole series of videos which gives a great introduction to segger embedded studio.
