yes you are correct. As you have added major,minor and uuid service you able to read value from mobile but you don't have used it. So when you got value from mobile you need to regenerate advertisement payload and then start advertising with it so you able to see new major,minor and uuid value when scan in nrf connect app

for example u want to edit link loss alert, battery notification etc. you can read and write those values after the connection. because those services will not reflect in scanning in nrf connect app. if i want to edit uuid, major and minor. these values reflect in scanning itself no need to establish the connection. if i add services and characteristics for these values. i can change the values after the connection only. those edited values will not reflect in the scanning in nrf connect app. am i correct?

i know how to add services and characteristics. if i add a service for uuid, major and minor. i can able to read and write those values after the connection. but those values will not reflect before connection(i.e., old values will be there the modified values can be seen after the connection only).

you need to add code for services and characteristics for collect data from mobile. Then advertise with new value.

can you send me example code for nrf51 in github ble_app_beacon_bcs?

and you want to change major,minor and uuid value when it broadcast as beacon right?

yeah i checked that example its working fine. i also changed my program as per my needs. everything is working fine. i just need to edit those values. there is an example for nrf51 in github ble_app_beacon_bcs. is there anything else for nrf52 or i want to code it by myself?

this link is just opening the buttons and leds. i already tried all the peripheral examples in sdk 14.1. now i want to edit my uuid, major and minor now. because after connection i can able to read and write all the services. but the uuid, major and minor are getting before connection. so i want to edit that too.
