I provide 5v on the USB connection but no host connection. I am trying to operate in PRX mode and just respond to packets over the air.
My code works if I open a connection

RE: nRF24LU1P operation without USB connection?

Hi Greg

Using the nRF24LU1+ without the USB interface connected should not be an issue, as long as you supply power either to the VBUS line (5V) or the VDD lines (~3.3V).

What kind of hardware are you using?
Is it a standard devkit, or a custom hardware design?

Best regards
