I looked at the service UUID encoded in the advert packet using and Wire-shark and confirmed my app is broadcasting packets.

&lt;p&gt;And a single instance of a peripheral stops broadcasting when in connection but nothing stops a device instantiating multiple instances of a peripheral and continuing to advertise and be connectable, or even to broadcast and not be connectable (that too is allowed).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
