If possible, please give me a copy of your broadvoice32 source code project.

i want to compare my own code,

Now the problem I encounter is:

nRF52840 uses broadvoice32 to encode a frame, which takes 20ms (but decoding only takes 2ms),

so it can't support 16bit 8khz audio.

Opus encoder is the default codec in the Smart Remote reference design. It also supports other codecs: ADPCM and BroadVoice.

Understood aptX may be overkill; is there any implementation of an alternate codec such as Opus (opus-codec.org) on an nrf dev board?

Yes, This is my plan too , we need original music data be received , and then we can use a coec to improve audio effects.

Is that a problem for nrf52840 ? 2M bandwith is very good for muic!
