Hi, please create a new case. Make sure you post which SDK version and SoftDevice version you are using. As well as debug logs and the error code you get that is causing the system to reset (compile with DEBUG flag, and check the app_error_handler). A sniffer trace would also be useful if there is nothing obvious in the error handler.

Hello run_ar

I have been facing same bonding issue.

With bonding set to zero and mitm set to 1 my device is visible and I m able to input my static passkey.

But with bonding and mitm together I run into sysysy reset.

Please can u help me out with some solutions.

When the device is not visible anymore, have you checked if you are getting a reset or assert? And could you try to advertise without a whitelist(BSP_EVENT_WHITELIST_OFF)?

Hi Koniho

Yes, I totally agree with you. If BLE connection is established then the BLE is not visible anymore. But nrf connect application provides the possibility that you can only add a bond (I checked that you are not connected after bonding). In this case, as I already said the ble is not visible anymore. I tested other programs from BLE examples and I got the same problem. If I remove bond then the ble becomes visible.

When a device is connected - it will not longer be advertising and thus not viewable in the 'scanner'. Is it possible that after you have bonded, the phone is automatically connecting to it thus stopping the device from advertising?
