If all you need is a single board running the thread CLI example, then the hardware setup is very simple. You just need a single nRF52840 board connected to your PC over USB.

To access the board you should connect to the virtual comport that shows up when you power up the kit.

In the screenshot you sent it appears you have SSH'ed into the RPi, rather than connect to the virtual comport of the Thread CLI node.

You can connect the nRF52840 board with CLI example to your PC and use PuTTY or other terminal emulator to access the command line interface. This is described in the section "Testing" in the border router documentation.

ok .consider i have flashed thread cli example on one nrf52840 dk .where should i connect that nrf52840 board? (to rpi using usb?) and thn execute the command

"panid" is a command in the Thread CLI Example used to test the border router. Check "Thread CLI Example" in the Thread documentation: nRF5 SDK for Thread v0.11.0
