I modified the client_publication_configured() to only check for the button that has been pressed, but without success.

I created a new case with more details.

Hi again Paulo,

I think I know the issue you have now. It's a bug in the implementation of the client code. It only works if all 4 client models have been configured. You can fix it by modifying client_publication_configured() to only check for the button has been pressed, not checking all the buttons.

Yes, you can use the demo for Thingy on a DK, but you need to modify some code to turn off and on LED otherwise you won't see any reaction. But at least you can do provisioning/configuration.

Please try again with another phone if possible. Also please provide a screenshot when you see the issue. Please create a new case and point to the case from here.

Sorry, I'm afraid I didn't explain my self right.

My objective was not to control the servers from the phone (yet) but rather to provision/configure the servers AND one client board, and then control the servers through the client board. However I get the error described in previous message: Ignored. Node is not configured.

Another question: this example you mentioned is for Thingy, is it compatible with the nRF 52DK as well?

Hi Paulo,

Please create a new case next time you have a question related.

The app can be used to provision/configuration any models. However, to be able to use the app to send a on/off command to a server, the server need to implement Generic On/Off model, not the simple on/off model we have in the example.

You can have a look at the thingy demo source code (that used in the video demo) where we use the generic on off model. They are very similar though.

Hi Hung,

I tried this app today and I successfully provisioned all the nodes, first the switch and then the servers.

However, when I try to talk with the servers, I get a message on the switch node saying: Ignored. Node is not configured.

Is this app compatible with the light_switch_example from the Mesh SDK?

Hi any phone support BLE should be able to work with the app. What kind of error do you have ? And how did you find out that the app doesn't support Samsung Tab ?

Owing to Bluetooth mesh is really new, so there is not any App which is open source you can use for reference.

I think you should add PB-GATT, then add proxy and provision protocol on your Android App.
